CERTUSS is a traditional German privately-owned, family-run company. Over its 65 years in business, CERTUSS has earned the trust of small, medium-sized and large well-known and renowned companies in over 100 industries worldwide.

When Hans-Joachim Schröder founded his company in 1957, he had major goals in mind: he wanted to build reliable, quiet, and easy-to-maintain steam generators for continuous operation. Using the water tube boiler principle most used worldwide for steam generation, he developed the CERTUSS steam generators.

With this objective, today’s company, which now operates worldwide, was established in the city of Krefeld located in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, just a few miles northwest of Düsseldorf. Concentrating on a clearly defined product line of quickly responding steam generators, continuous research and development, and a team of excellently trained specialists, enable series production to the highest standards. Quality assurance is maintained In accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015 and ASME.

CERTUSS steam generators are environmentally friendly and efficiently convert energy from natural gas, propane, and #2 oil. Thanks to innovative modulating burner control, they are ideal for use in industry and commercial operations. CERTUSS steam generators continually strive to reliably meet current ecological standards around the globe.

CERTUSS steam generators are available in the JUNIOR TC and UNIVERSAL TC series with steam outputs from 176 to 4,410 lbs/hr. Depending on the size, they are available with oil, gas or dual fuel burners. These steam generators can also be utilized in modular, multiple boiler systems for economical and reliable steam supply. The space requirement is significantly reduced, compared to boilers of similar capacity due to the upright design, and low water content of all CERTUSS steam generators.

CERTUSS steam generators have been type-tested according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23 / Eg. Officially simplified installation conditions in most countries are also a plus.
